The 1828 Noah Webster Dictionary identified the word "optimist" in complimentary terms. Conversely, the word "pessimist" not only was not defined, but it was nowhere to be found in the entire volume. The word "pessimist" was not in our vocabulary at all at that time. It's a modern-day invention, which I believe we should "dis-invent"!
Zig Zigler

A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.
Winston Churchill

The Law of Attraction is the thought belief that "like attracts like". This method of thinking is so powerful that it can get you literally anything you want in this world.

All that is required is that you be willing to "attract" the right things into your life and you will live in a more fulfilled way!

Why is the Law of Attraction so awesome when applied to Holistic Personal Development?

If the study of Holistic Personal Development studies every area of your life, then the Law of Attraction is the accelerator. They both must work together if you want to get awesome results in your life.

And furthermore, you won't get the right results in your life if you use the Law of Attraction incorrectly. Consider the following demonstration...

According to the Law of Attraction, the phrase "I need more money" allows you to continue "needing more money".

Do you get the point here?

You might end up getting more money, but end up going further into debt in the process. Hence, you will end up still "needing" more money only because you were attracting the wrong things.

If you want to change this, you will need to focus your thoughts on the end result. (Having more money) rather than the problem (needing more money).

This might take the form of phrases such as "I will make more money" or "I will find a job that will pay lucratively"!

Science even validates the fact that if an optimist and a pessimist had a 50/50 chance at surviving a critical near-death
experience, the pessimist will perish while the optimist will almost always come out alive! Why? Because both attract Life toward them based on each one's will to live.

Affirmations refer primarily to the practice of positive thinking---fostering a belief that "a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything".

More specifically, an affirmation is a carefully formatted statement that should be repeated to one's self and written down frequently. For an affirmation to be effective it needs to be in the present tense, positive, personal, and specific.

"There is a secret psychology of money. Most people don't know about it. That's why most people never become financially successful. A lack of money isn't the problem; it's merely a symptom of what's going on inside of you."
T. Harv Eker

Learning the art of financial success is far to important even if you don't believe that money is important. You must pursue it diligently, even if only to make sure that it never stands in your way as an obstacle to your dreams and goals.

All who have accomplished great things have had a great aim, and have fixed their gaze on a goal which was high - one which sometimes seemed impossible.
Orison Swett Marden

There is only one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.
W. Clement Stone
